This artwork, created with graphite and mixed techniques on paper, captures a full-body figurative portrait of a young girl, her long blond hair framing her face as she indulges in oversized ice cream. The ice cream’s glittery, shiny pink hue, mirrored in the girl’s open-toe shoes, creates a vivid contrast against the predominantly black-and-white tones of the drawing. These shimmering glitter details represent an imaginative lens through which the character “tastes” a sweeter, more vibrant world. This lens may obscure reality while amplifying its colorful delights, symbolizing innocence, escapism, or a deep yearning to focus solely on life’s joys, even amidst its challenges.

Inspired by a real-life moment, the piece reflects a snapshot of pure pleasure, reminiscent of the artist’s personal memories. Born in Messina, Italy in 1984, Giuditta’s exploration with art began during childhood, as her parents are both artists, where she became fascinated with graphite drawings.

Throughout Giuditta’s career, her contributions to the world have been recognized by prestigious institutions like Psychology & Counseling Associates, Aedra Fine Arts, and several across Italy. Giuditta is currently working and residing in Berlin, Germany while her work continues to gain international recognition.
