‘Art That Transforms’ (September 2024)

Our recent event, the “Art That Transforms” exhibition and live art auction merged the worlds of community involvement and awareness of mental health. Our event brought the Orange County community together with an eclectic display of artwork from renowned artists. Guests were able to enjoy art masterpieces and be part of a spirited auction within which they could participate in bidding for rare pieces at affordable prices. Our event was funded in part by the City of Costa Mesa’s Arts Grant program and California Arts Council.

‘Masterpeace’ K-12 Juried Art Show (May 2024)

The theme for this year’s show was “Drawing Strength, Love, and Life,” inviting students to express what peace means to them through their artwork. Students submitted their artwork by April 26th, 2024. All materials were accepted, with the only limitation being that the artwork could not exceed 20″x20″ inches in size. Three finalists from each

‘Social Anxiety’ Art-&-Adversity Awareness Workshop (September 2022)

The theory behind the use of artistic therapeutic expression suggests the use of art, drawing, painting, writing, sculpting, or otherwise can alleviate negative feelings associated with anxiety while also helping to form alliances and strengthen bonds between ourselves and others experiencing the same which aligns with The Art Spread’s mission on building a supportive community for everyone experiencing mental, physical, and societal challenges.
